Treb Allen, or David West Allen III, is Distinguished Professor of Economics and Globalization and a research associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research.Previously, he was an assistant professor at Northwestern University and Dartmouth.He is also Editor of the Review of Economics and Statistics.He received his Ph.D. from Yale University.His research focuses on economic geography, trade, urban economics, economic development and economic history.
